Find likely areas for game and plan how you might travel through rough country using Basemaps. Basemaps show you the country you see when you’re in the field. Aerial imagery and topography can be viewed separately or together to understand the size and shape of the terrain, as well as the cover at the time the area was photographed from the air.
Tap the Basemap selector in the bottom right corner of the main screen to change between Basemaps:
Topo - drawn map using contour lines to show changes in elevation.
Sat - aerial imagery.
Hyb - hybrid view with contour lines and aerial imagery.
3D Mode (iOS and web only)
3D Mode is only available for the Satellite Basemap, so make sure you have it selected before using 3D Mode.
Tap the 3D Map Button in the Basemaps card to start using 3D mode.
In 3D Mode, press two fingers to the screen and slide them up or down to tilt the map.
Slide your fingers in opposite directions to rotate the map.
