onX does not collect any user information to resell, but the onX Hunt App needs permission to access certain functions on your mobile device to work properly.
Why does onX need to access my photos?
The onX Hunt App needs permission to access the photo gallery and/or camera on your mobile device to use the Photo Waypoint feature.

What does onX do with my Markups (Waypoints, Lines, Shapes, and Tracks)?
Markups you create are uploaded to onX's servers so that you can access them from any compatible device. Markups are stored as raw data and access to these servers is restricted.
onX employees cannot view customer Markups unless requested by the customer, providing the correct login information. It's your data and it's under your control.
onX Hunt includes a feature that allows you to Share a Markup with another onX Hunt user. Shared Markups can be removed from the other user's account at any time.

Does onX store my phone number, email address, and other personal information?
Your onX account is identified by email address. This is the only personal information required for creating an onX account. While onX does store and share some account-holder information with third-party analytics providers for business purposes, onX does not sell any personal information.
Filling out your first and last name will allow you to share Markups and help us identify your account if you need support, but is not required.
Your onX account is not locked to any computer, tablet, or phone, so we do not need your phone number, physical address or location. This information is not recorded in your account.
