Mark important locations on your map with Waypoints, and measure distances and areas with Lines and Shapes. Waypoints, Lines, and Shapes are called "Markups" and are saved to your account in the My Content Menu.

Creating Waypoints in the onX Hunt App
Create a Waypoint in the center of the map area currently visible on your screen by tapping the "Add Waypoint" button.

Create a Waypoint with a photo attached by tapping the "Add Photo" button. You can choose to take a new photo or attach one from your device's library. After creating a normal Waypoint, you can attach a photo by editing it in the My Content Menu.
Quickly mark your current physical location by tapping the "Mark My Location" button.
You can also tap and hold any location on your map to quickly create a Waypoint at that location.
When creating or editing a Markup, swipe the card up to view more customization options.
You can customize your Markups with:
- Colors.
- Line styles and weights.
- Waypoint photos.
- Waypoint icons.
Creating Lines and Areas in the onX Hunt App
Draw a line and measure distance by tapping the "Line Distance" button
Draw a shape and measure area by tapping the "Area Shape" button.
Tap the map to add points at any location, or tap the "Drop Point" button to drop points in the center of the screen.
Line lengths are displayed next to each line segment.
Shape areas are displayed in the center of the Shape.
Continue adding points until you're finished, then tap "Save." Click here to learn how to edit saved Markups in the My Content Menu.

Creating Waypoints in the onX Hunt Web Map
Click the Waypoint tool in the Map Tools Menu to create a Waypoint. The Waypoint will appear in the center of your map, and you can click and drag it to an exact location.

Creating Lines and Areas in the onX Hunt Web Map
Click the Line Tool or the Area Tool Button in the Map Tools Menu to create Lines or Areas.
Click points on your map to create Lines and Areas. Click "Save" when you're done adding points, or click "Undo" to remove the last point.
Drawing Lines freehand:
When you click "Free Draw" under "Line type," you can click and drag to draw Lines on your map instead of clicking to add points with straight lines between them.
