onX Memberships are yearly or monthly subscription-based services that automatically renew at the end of each subscription term (one calendar year or 30 days) until the subscription is canceled or the provided payment source is declined.
Canceling your Membership stops the automatic renewal, but you'll retain access to paid features for the duration of your subscription term. Canceling your Membership does not refund any associated charges.
Once your subscription expires, your account reverts to a Basic (free) Membership. You'll keep all of your existing saved Markups (Waypoints, Routes, Lines, Shapes, and Tracks), but you'll lose access to all paid features including the ability to utilize any menus and tools related to Offline Maps, Tools, My Content, Trail Cameras, and Map Layers.

What Happens After Canceling
Canceling your Membership turns off the automatic renewal for your account, but you'll still have access to paid features for the duration of your Membership term. After your Premium or Elite Membership expires, your account downgrades to a Basic (free) Membership. Here's what changes:
What You Keep:
- All saved Markups (Waypoints, Routes, Lines, Shapes, and Tracks).
- Ability to view your current location.
- Satellite imagery.
What You Lose:
- Access to all Map Layers (ex. Private Lands, Government Lands, Hunting Units, etc.).
- Access to the My Content menu and the ability to edit, delete, export, or share Markups.
- Access to additional imagery options and topographic/hybrid basemaps.
- The Tools menu, including the ability to save new markups.
- Option to add/archive Trail Cameras.
- Ability to save or use Offline Maps.
- Ability to use the Tracker feature.
- Wind and weather information.
- 3D Maps.
If you'd like to save your Markups and import them into other mapping programs/software, use the "Export" feature to back up your data before your Membership expires.
