Your credit or debit card can be updated in the same billing system used to buy it, and this article includes instructions for updating your debit or credit card in all three billing systems. Depending on how you bought your Membership, your billing may be handled by onX, the iTunes & App Store (iPhones and iPads), or the Google Play Store (Android devices).
If you used a Gift Card or onX Hunt Chip Redeem Code (both have a16 digit code) to activate your Membership, you can renew your Membership after it expires using your debit or credit card without losing any of your Markups (Waypoints, Lines, Shapes, and Tracks). Click here to learn how to renew your Membership after it expires.
This article has three parts:
- Find your billing source and update a debit or credit card on onXmaps.com.
- Update your debit or credit card in the iTunes & App Store.
- Update your debit or credit card in the Google Play Store.
Part 1 - Find your purchase source and update your debit or credit card on onXmaps.com:
The easiest way to find your billing source is to track down the original receipt. Check your email inbox from around the time of your original purchase for a receipt from the App Store, the Google Play Store, or onXmaps.com.
If you can't find the receipt, you can find your billing source on the onX Hunt Web Map's Memberships Menu. On your desktop computer, laptop computer, or mobile internet browser, click here to log into the onX Hunt Web Map's Memberships Menu.
If you see "Update Payment Information" under "Change Password" then your billing is handled by onX and you can click "Update Payment Information" to update your debit or credit card.
If you don't see "Update Payment Information," then your billing is handled by the iTunes & App Store or the Google Play Store, or you activated your Membership using a Gift Card or onX Hunt Chip Redeem Code. Scroll down for iTunes & App Store and Google Play Store billing update instructions.
Part 2 - Update your billing in the iTunes & App Store (iPhones and iPads):
If your Membership is billed through the App Store and you're reading this article on an iPhone or iPad, click here to update your billing in the App Store.
