To ensure the best performance, we recommend connecting your mobile device to your in-dash device using a USB cable instead of Bluetooth.
To add or remove Layers, download Offline Maps, use Map Tools, or use the Tracker, use the onX Hunt App on your mobile device.
Waypoints, Lines, Shapes, and Tracks visible in your onX Hunt App on your mobile device will also be visible on the in-dash display.

Using onX Hunt with Apple CarPlay
If you haven't set up your Apple CarPlay yet, click here for instructions.
Once you launch Apple CarPlay, use the buttons on the right side of the screen to control the map.
To center the map on your current location, tap the location button at the top.
To move the map manually, drag your finger across the screen or tap the pan button just below the location button.
To mark your current location or start the Tracker, tap on the Waypoint icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

To change Basemaps or enable 3D, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the settings icon. You can also use the onX Hunt App on your phone or tablet to change Basemaps.

Tap the map orientation button to set North-up orientation, tilt the map to the Perspective view, or reset it to the Top-down orientation.
Using onX Hunt with Android Auto
If you haven't set up your Android Auto yet, click here for instructions.
You can search for and navigate to locations while connected to Android Auto. Tap the search button to search for national and local forests, recreation sites, addresses, and more.
Tap the settings button to change between the Roads, Satellite, Topo, and Hybrid Basemaps, and to change your map view.
Tap the location button to center the map on your current location.
Tap the plus or minus buttons to zoom in and out.
