This nationwide layer for 16 different North American species allows you to see historical trends in records for each species. Each county in the region will be color coded to indicate past trends. Use this layer to help scout, or when researching the best locations to put in tags for.
There are 16 species, Black Bear, Bison, Bighorn, Canada Moose, Columbia Blacktail Deer, Cougar, Coues’ Deer, Desert Sheep, American Elk, Mule Deer, Pronghorn, Roosevelt Elk, Rocky Mountain Goat, Shiras Moose, Whitetail Deer, and Tule Elk.
Tap or click the "Layer Settings" button underneath the Boone & Crockett Layer to switch between species.
What is the Boone & Crockett Club?
The B&C Club is the oldest wildlife conservation organization in North America; founded in 1887 by Theodore Roosevelt and George Bird Grinnell. It is the mission of the Boone and Crockett Club to promote the conservation and management of wildlife, especially big game species habitat, to preserve and encourage hunting, and to maintain the highest ethical standards of fair chase and sportsmanship in North America.
