You can use onX Hunt promotional codes to discount the first year or month of your Membership. onX Memberships are only available on a yearly or month-to-month () basis and promo codes can only be applied to purchases made through www.onXmaps.com.
Existing members seeking to apply discount codes will need to cancel their Membership, allow it to expire, and then re-purchase with the promotional code during the checkout process. Purchasing a Membership with a promo code doesn't extend or reduce your Membership term and will not refund any previous charges.
Notes about using promo codes:
- Promo codes can't be applied to in-app purchases through the Google Play Store/App Store.
- Promo codes have an expiration date, so make sure to use them before the offer expires.
- Promo codes are one-time-use and don't extend or reduce your current Membership term.
- Promo codes don't apply to automatic renewals unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Membership terms cannot be adjusted–they automatically renew either one calendar year/365 days or one month/30 days (as applicable) from the purchase date until canceled.

How to use promo codes to purchase a new Membership
Brand new users or users with a Basic (free) onX Hunt account can apply promotional codes during the checkout process on our website, www.onXmaps.com.
Follow the steps below for more information.
- Click here to start the purchase process.
- On the "Options" page, select your desired Membership and click "Next."
- Provide an email address and password on the "Account" page, or choose "Already have an account? Login" if you've done so previously.
- Provide your payment information on the "Billing" page and enter the promo code in the related field (make sure to hit "Apply").
Click "Start Membership" to complete your purchase.
Note: if the promo code shows an error message when applied, ensure that it's valid for the Membership/product in question and hasn't expired.

How to apply a promo code to an existing Membership
If you already have an active Membership and would like to use a promo code for the same Membership tier (ex. Premium, Premium Two-State, or Elite), you'll need to cancel the Membership in question, allow it to expire, and re-purchase using the same instructions as above.
Canceling your Membership has no impact on your saved Markups–they're permanently saved to your account regardless of whether or not your Membership is active.
If you're applying the promotional code to upgrade a Membership that's already billed through our site (ex. from Premium to Elite), the discount will be applied to the cost of the upgraded Membership from the date of the upgrade to the end of the current subscription term, and you'll be charged the full rate at the time of the automatic renewal unless explicitly stated otherwise in the terms and conditions for the associated promo code.
You'll automatically receive prorated credit for the amount of time you paid for with the previous, lower-level Membership and haven't used, provided that:
- Your active Membership is billed through www.onXmaps.com, AND
- You're providing the same account email address/password during the purchase process.
A complete breakdown of the associated costs and proration will be available in your emailed receipt—if you don't see one in your inbox a few minutes after being charged, please check your spam folder.

Qualified outdoor industry professionals, outfitters, and government workers/agencies can apply for discounts via our Industry Discount application form.
