onX Hunt's Settings Menu lets you make changes to your display, like switching between GPS coordinate types.

How to use the Settings Menu in the onX Hunt App
To get to the Settings Menu in the onX Hunt App, tap the Main Menu button in the upper right corner.
Tap "Settings."
Tap the toggle switches in the menu to change the different settings.
- Allow Push Notifications: allow onX to alert you about feature releases, promotions, and more.
Units and Coordinates
- Units: choose between Imperial (feet, yards, miles) or Metric (meters, kilometers).
- Coordinates: choose between decimal format, DMS (Degrees, Minutes and Seconds) format, or UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator).
Map Settings
- Hide Coordinates: when this setting is turned on, GPS coordinates in info cards will be replaced with N 00.0 / W -00.0.
- Show Crosshairs: show or hide crosshairs in the center of your map.
- Enable Pinch to Rotate: press two fingers to the screen and rotate the map when this setting is turned on.
- Enable 2D Map tilt: press two fingers to the screen and slide up or down to tilt the map when this setting is turned on.
Offline Map Settings
- Show Off-Grid Area Outlines: show or hide the borders of maps you have already saved.
- Auto Update Offline Maps: your Offline Maps will automatically download updates whenever we make changes to the area.
Photo Settings
- Use Cellular for Photos: allow the onX Hunt App to use your device's mobile data connection to sync photos between devices instead of waiting for a Wi-Fi connection. Be aware that if you enable this setting, you may incur data charges from your service provider.
How to use the Settings Menu in the onX Hunt Web Map
To get to the Settings Menu in the onX Hunt Web Map, click the Settings Button on the left side of the screen.
- Units: choose between Imperial (feet, yards, miles) or Metric (meters, kilometers).
- GPS: choose between decimal format, DMS (Degrees, Minutes and Seconds) format, or UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator).
- Secret Spot Mode: when this setting is turned on, GPS coordinates in the bottom right corner are replaced by "00.000, 00.000."
- Crosshair Visibility: show or hide crosshairs in the center of your map.
- Show Coordinates: when this setting is turned off, GPS coordinates in the bottom right corner are hidden completely.
- Display Scale Bar: when this setting is turned off, the scale bar in the bottom right corner is hidden.
